Welcome to Aalia’s Dream (Charity) Organization, 'ADO' - 501c3, non-profit organization
dedicated to raising awareness, education, resources for U.S. Figure Skaters.

Los Angeles, CA. March 15, 2024 - ADO launches with 2 initiatives; Born2Skate Foundation "B2S” and

Once A Skater, Always A Skater “OSAS”.    B2S will focus on grants, scholarships and mentorship programs from beginner to high level competition skaters. OSAS will be the communication, advocacy arm for ADO -

to promote, educate, raise awareness for U.S. figure skating. OSAS additionally will be the brand ambassador, revenue generator for these programs - by way of donations (corporate, individuals), grants, endowments, and other revenue sources, merchandise, services, etc. Collectively, the mission for ADO is to promote, assist athlete skaters to compete at the highest levels, nationally, internationally including the Olympics.

mission.

The mission of Aalia's Dream Organization is to promote, advocate and raise awareness for U.S. Figure Skating. ADO intends to bridge sorely needed resources for beginner to advanced, developed athlete skaters with donation drives, corporate sponsors, revenue generators. Ultimately, our mission is to help develop the next generation of elite level competition figure skaters, athletes, to compete for the U.S.A. in national, international competitions, including the Olympics.

One of ADO's immediate goals is to organize, design, seek corporate donors, sponsorships to build and attend the Tournament of Roses, Rose Bowl Parade, Pasadena California! The vision is to build a float celebrating the history, legacy, cultural, social importance of U.S. Figure Skating in driving (pun intended) awareness of the rich diverse world of US figure skating.

Another grand challenge ADO will embark on,  is to have a Olympic Size Rink

dedicated for Figure Skaters in greater Los Angeles area!

Ultimately Aalia’s Dream is to also someday compete at the highest

levels herself, perhaps even on Team USA and compete nationally, internationally and even in the Olympics someday!

10 under 10 :
Born to Skate 1st Initiative!

ADO's Born to Skate, B2S is seeking sponsorship, donations to bring together 10 promising skaters, under 10 years of age - to meet, skate with current, former Olympians, National, International Champions! The 10 under 10 (10/10) program will provide guidance, tips, leaderships to inspire, prepare these young athletes for the tough, challenging road ahead of them. 10/10 will bridge top elite level skaters on ice with the future of young aspiring skaters that hope to skate for the  U.S.A. in national, world and even the Olympics someday!  10/10 will provide an intimate, hands on experience and learn first hand what it takes to be an elite athlete, from skaters such as Alysa Liu, Karen Chen, Michelle Kwan, Nathan Chen, Adam Rippon, Jason Brown, etc. The goal is to raise 10,000 - 15,000 dollars. Use of funds will be to provide each skater, and their family a small scholarship fund of 250- 500 dollars to assist with travel, expenses etc., to attend the Private Session. The rest will be used towards rink fees, staffing, coaching, and charities of the elite figure skater(s) choice. The goal is to host this on October 10th, 2024 for a Private Ice Session(s) on ice over the weekend.  For more information, please Contact Us -- and learn how you can support the future of our  young skaters!

Thank you for visiting our website and learning more about Aalia and our organization!  When Aalia was 5 we started on her skating journey – going to group class once, twice a week. Within a short period of time, we realized that she really enjoyed skating, the coaching, and experience on ice. The more she skated, the more she wanted to be on ice!  Our next step was to pick up a second hand pair of her own skates, as Aalia was now on ice 3-4 times a week. We often went to public sessions to practice jumps and spins while carving, creating her own lines.  We entered several competitions by direction of our coaches. Aalia was able to land on podium to our surprise!  More importantly, we saw that skating provided her a means to express herself authentically – even more so than debating with her younger brother who gets to order ice cream first!  Now 7, skating is literally at the center of our day, life style, our family orbit. What we realized  however, as a family - having committed ourselves  on this journey - and learning so much about the world of figure skating – are the incredible challenges that the athlete and their families must, and will face. The time, energy, resource investments to the long term horizon, goals for the skaters and their families, including the very limited resources, facility in this sport.  These considerations are not as copious nor as solidified as one may think, especially in light to the immensity of sacrifice, investment in the sport. I would assume that most families, like ours - did not know much of these considerations early on. However now, as we are training full time, and having been immersed into this world - it became obvious to me, as a parent, a businessman, producer of philanthropic charity events, a former U.S. Marine, and once break-dancer / martial artist – that there was an opportunity to bridge so many intersecting, overlapping interests & qualities!  Hence, Aalia’s Dream Charity Organization (ADO) was born !
